“best hosting companies 2016 _domain hosting vs web hosting”

Hey, Marcus, thanks for your review. After reading it, I decided to ask for your advice. A couple of months ago I signed up with Hostinger free plan and tested their services, the UI is friendly, customer support is professional, in any case, am satisfied so far.

We offer both Windows and Linux hosting. Which one you need depends on what you want to do with your site, like whether you want to create a shopping cart, host a podcast, or add a blog. Web hosting is a very competitive field. The features, options, pricing plans, etc., can be overwhelming. Most web hosting providers offer three pricing tiers, with features that vary between each plan.

If you require a lot of functionality and versatility from your website, you’ll benefit from programs and applications that can help you build your site. Our Web hosting plans give you access to free, server-side applications that can be used to develop and customize your website, including popular Content Management System (CMS) applications like WordPress® and Joomla!®. You can even add a Dedicated IP if you plan to add an SSL Certificate later.

Limits – Because the server architecture is specialized for WordPress, often you are limited to run only WordPress based sites. But that’s what you were looking to do anyways. You also cannot run all WordPress plugins. Managed WordPress hosting providers block plugins that slows down your site. So this is not entirely a disadvantage, but it can be an issue for larger companies.

Cloud hosting is similar to VPS hosting in that the server isn’t actually a physical machine. Rather, your hosting is distributed across multiple servers, all of which are connected (by the web host provider) to form a network of sorts.

Clustered hosting: having multiple servers hosting the same content for better resource utilization. Clustered servers are a perfect solution for high-availability dedicated hosting, or creating a scalable web hosting solution. A cluster may separate web serving from database hosting capability. (Usually web hosts use clustered hosting for their shared hosting plans, as there are multiple benefits to the mass managing of clients).[9]

I was hosting with justhost in the past – they were so horrible that I had to move all my sites after weeks of wasted time in lip service and absolutely no fixes. I moved to hostclear and everything was fine for couple of years until justhost decided to buy out hostclear. The service immediately deteriorated – with the cpanel still not working as I am writing this I have to move again. They are not only horrible, but they also mess up decent hosts. It is so bad that it is CRIMINAL!!!
